Larry had his heart cath overnight and a stent is already placed. (They typically go ahead and place the stent during the cath if one is needed–I did not know that). It was placed in an artery that was 70% blocked.
They will want to hold him in the hospital longer than they normally hospitalize someone here after a stent to be sure he is flight worthy. (They will tell him in a couple days how long that will need to be.)
Everything went typically. He did fine during the procedure, and will lay flat on his back 5-6 hours–I’m sure that will uncomfortable with his back.
He was awake during the procedure (typical)– a praise that we don’t have to worry about any problems with sedation!
We praise the Lord and continue to pray as he recovers.
