Would You Comment a Prayer for Mom?

Mom will have her computer set up by next week most likely.

I just thought it would be great for some to post prayers for her and Pop as they fly over.  They are flying separately (now through Saturday).

It will be great for them to find them, and I appreciate reading the prayers for safety for them as well.

Lord Jesus, I bring B*##*@# before you today,
asking you to be her rock,

    her comfort and her sufficiency,

    be her guiding hand,

be the voice that speaks when she feels alone, or nervous,

let her know that YOU have made this journey before she even thought of it and YOU have already cleared the path – you have gone on before her, are there at each step and at the destination

let her have peace in know that those she has left behind are held closely in Your hands and You will be their fortress and strength

let her rejoice at knowing she will be soon rejoined with the one who completes her

let their time be fruitful and may others come to know You because of the message they live

keep her and L. safe and bring them home to all those who love them

allow them to prosper, physcially, spiritually, financially and all other ways

Bless them for their willingingness to take a risk and do the unexpected

Bless their families, give them peace of mind and heart, and thank you that even though they are apart, they are still together with You. (Praise God for skype)

Thank you for your faithfulness and lovingkindness.

    Father God,

I bring praise to You tonight because You are God and You are Worthy.
I humbly ask for the safety and peace of mind of Your daughter as she travels to the unknown. Lord, she feels called to go at this time and we ask that her faithfulness be blessed. Father, use them as an instrument for Your glory while they are away. May this not be just a job, but a mission field to share You with others. We ask for safety for L as he travels. Lord, I ask for strength and calm for Maggie and her family. May they be very mindful of Your love and watchcare.

    In Jesus’ Sweet Name,

Father God we acknowledge and thank you for who you are. The Lord of Lords. The King of Kings. The Alpha and Omega. The great I AM. Thank you Father that when we come to your throne of grace with our petitions, we come with expectancy in our hearts that you will blow our minds with how you answer our prayers because of who you are; you are faithful, you are holy, you are righteous, you are savior, you are a healer, you are a deliverer, you are our shelter. Thank you for your peace that surpasses all understanding that has rested upon this family during this time in their lives. Thank you, first and foremost, for your calling on Maggie’s mom’s life. Thank you that all things in her life are working together for her good as your word promises. Thank you that you have promised to never leave nor forsake her; that you are with her everywhere she goes. I pray for you to command your angels to take charge over her and Maggie’s dad as they travel. Touch the pilot and the air crew and all the passengers throughout the trip in the name of Jesus. I pray for her peace as she begins this new season in her life. Order her steps Lord as she moves forward in obedience to your will. I pray that you would bless Maggie during this time. Give her peace to know that you are God and you are in control. Help her to be still and to trust in your word which is unfailing. Thank you for the peace and strength you have given her thus far. We give you honor, glory and praise for you are worthy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you God for these two who have sacrificed so much to help strangers in need. I ask that you watch over their travels and guide them safely to their destination and keep them safe during their stay. I pray for you to fill them with courage and hope as they face each day, that they will feel positive about each accomplishment, and that you will allow them to be in contact with their families often. I also ask for you to strengthen their families here and help them continue on one day at a time during their absence.

    In Jesus’ name,

Maggie a very wise person once told me “Our GOD is so Awesome that He is capable of watching over her no matter where she is, even another Continent”. I continue to say this phrase over and over again when fears arise. I know your mother does also, ’cause you see this wise person was her.
I Pray she keeps her strong faith in the Lord. This is where she draws her strength, from the well of Faith.
She is a tough Prayer Warrior, I admire her so much and continue to support her goal, even though it is difficult at times.

May Gods Awesome Love Surrounds Us Always,
    Aunt Marsha

Sifting the joy from the mundane:

recording, photographing, learning, creating.

I am married to the love of my life, as we raise three children, learning the ways of grace.

Magnanimity (derived from the Latin roots magn- great, and anima, soul) is the virtue of being great of mind and heart. It encompasses, usually, a refusal to be petty, a willingness to face danger, and actions for noble purposes. Its antithesis is pusillanimity. Both terms were coined by Aristotle, who called magnanimity "the crowning virtue."

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language defines Magnanimity as such:

MAGNANIM'ITY, n. [L. magnanimitas; magnus, great, and animus, mind.] Greatness of mind; that elevation or dignity of soul, which encounters danger and trouble with tranquillity and firmness, which raises the possessor above revenge, and makes him delight in acts of benevolence, which makes him disdain injustice and meanness, and prompts him to sacrifice personal ease, interest and safety for the accomplishment of useful and noble objects.[1] (Source: Wikipedia)

When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn. -Harriet Beecher Stowe

Please know that I am not posting as an expert, but as a fellow traveler. I recommend that you research and double check things on your own before taking any advice or instruction from this site.  Information is given in good faith for the time period in which it was written. I am also an affiliate of the Sure Cuts A Lot software, for Cricut, which means you don't need Cricut cartridges to cut any font or .jpg on your computer.  I get some pocket change for introducing you if you choose to buy it by clicking on my site.  And we all know I need more cardstock, so I do appreciate it.  I sometimes review other products for a fee, but I am not required to give a positive review, and post honestly as to my experience.  I hope you find this useful.
